The Little Electric Dirt Bike That Thinks It’s a Monster

Hook
Some dirt bikes roar.
The M5? It grins.
Quiet as a ninja, but with a 120Nm kick that’ll make you grab your handlebars and say, “Whoa, ok – I like you.”
We built the M5 for one reason: to make electric off-road riding stupidly fun. Not “responsible” fun. Not “eco-friendly but boring” fun.
Just dirt-in-your-teeth, lean-into-the-turn, is-that-a-35°-hill?-bring-it fun.
What’s under the (surprisingly tough) plastic?
Glad you asked. Let’s talk numbers – but the fun kind.
🔧 Heart: A 3500W angry mid‑drive
Most e-dirt bikes use a wimpy hub motor. Not this one.
The M5 packs a 48V 1200W rated mid‑drive that screams up to 3500W when you twist the throttle. That’s not a typo.
-
Torque? 120Nm – enough to climb stuff that looks like a wall.
-
Top speed? 3 gears, take your pick:
🟢 25km/h (mellow trail cruise)
🟡 35km/h (sweet spot for flowy singletrack)
🔴 50km/h (hold your helmet on)
🔋 Battery: 48V 20Ah, and yes – it comes out
Range anxiety? Never heard of her.
-
1st gear → ~55km (enough for a whole afternoon of exploring)
-
3rd gear → ~30km (because speed costs energy – worth it)
And the 7.2kg battery pops out in seconds. Charge it at your desk, in the van, or next to your bed like a weird, powerful pet.
🛞 Wheels & suspension that actually work off‑road
-
Front tire: 60/100-14
-
Rear tire: 80/100-12 – fat, grippy, ready for mud and loose gravel
-
Front forks: Inverted aluminium – stiff and blingy
-
Rear shock: Hydraulic & adjustable – tune it for your weight and your “send it” level
🛑 Stopping = important
Hydraulic brakes front & rear.
Because going 50km/h through the woods is fun. Not stopping is… less fun.
💦 Water? Please.
IPX6 – rain, puddles, power‑wash after a muddy ride? All good.
Who is the M5 for?
Honestly? Anyone who wants to laugh inside their helmet.
-
New riders: 25km/h mode is chill, but the bike feels solid (57kg / 125lbs – heavy enough to be stable, light enough to toss around).
-
Intermediate rippers: 35km/h mode and 120Nm torque = pop the front wheel over logs.
-
Old school dirt bikers curious about electric: You’ll miss the noise for about 4 seconds. Then you’ll love the instant torque and the fact you can ride without annoying your neighbours (or the forest ranger).
Real talk – what’s it like to ride?
Picture this:
You swing a leg over the 710mm seat height (low enough for most mortals).
Turn the key. Silence. Weird, right?
Then you twist the throttle.
BAM. No spool‑up. No clutch. Just 120Nm of let’s go.
The inverted front forks eat small bumps. The rear hydraulic shock soaks up the big ones. The bike feels planted – that 1080mm wheelbase keeps it stable in straights, but it still turns like a angry wasp.
And when you finish? Pull the battery, wipe the mud off the IPX6 plastics, and plan tomorrow’s ride.

Final words (with a wink)
The M5 won’t wake your neighbours.
It won’t smell like gas.
It won’t ask for oil changes or spark plugs.
What it will do:
Make you find excuses to take the long way home.
Make you laugh when you climb a hill that your buddy’s gas bike struggled on.
Make you realise – electric off‑road is not the future.
It’s today. And it’s awesome.
